The Student Services Finance Committee (SSFC) of the University of Wisconsin-Madison is proud to allocate a portion of the Student Segregated Fee to the General Student Services Fund. With this fund, student organizations at UW-Madison can take advantage of supplies and salary funds to provide services and programming to all students across the university. Review ASM’s eligibility criteria to find out if the General Student Services Fund is right for your organization.
Applications for the General Student Services Fund are closed for the 2021-2022 academic year.
2022-2023 Applications will open May 2021.

How does my organization join the GSSF?
Applications to the General Student Services Fund are live each year from May until September. Exact due dates are determined each year in the SSFC Calendar.
Who is in charge of the GSSF?
The GSSF is governed by the Student Services Finance Committee. Each organization supervises their own employees and provides programming under the guidance of State, Federal, University, and ASM policies.
When will my budget begin if I apply for this funding?
The General Student Services Fund is applied for every fall. The funding received would be allocated July 1 of the following fiscal year.
- Example: application and approval in Fall 2020, budget allocated July 1, 2021.
